Australian Refugees Group seeks to raise awareness about the plights and stories of refugees in Australia, and the strength and resilience that they bring to Australia. Our approach is geared towards helping mainstream Australian community understand the sufferings of refugees and people fleeing from violent conflicts and persecution around the world. By actively engaging with Australian society on refugee issues, will not only help change community perception but also help generate more understanding, compassion and empathy towards refugees. We aim to build community support to highlight the plight of refugees and liaise with relevant authorities in galvanizing community awareness in Australia.
