*   Refugees are too "culturally different" to fit in with the Australian way of life. and Australia is being "invaded" or "flooded" by refugees.

 

*    Boat people are rich because they can afford to pay people smugglers, and Indonesia should accept Muslim refugees.

 

* 
People who arrive unauthorised are not "genuine" refugees

* 
Refugees will create unemployment and "steal" Australians’ entitlements.

 

* 
Boat people are "queue jumpers", stealing the places of "genuine" refugees waiting patiently in camps. 

 

* The atrocity in New York shows that Australia must stop allowing people from Afghanistan to enter the country "holus bolus".

 

 *    It is not safe to let asylum seekers into the community.


 * Australia is a "soft touch" because of its "generosity" to refugees.

 

*  Refugee detention centres are like holiday camps.


* Refugees cost too much, detentions is very expensive, the high security and remote locations of the the centres adds considerably to the coast. At $104,00 a day per head.

 

*   Australia has to get tough with people smugglers.

A New Strategy for Securing the Realm.   The encirclement of Syria and Lebanon has long been in the works. Since 2001, Washington and NATO have started the process of cordoning off Lebanon and Syria. The permanent NATO presence in the Eastern Mediterranean and the Syrian Accountability Act are part of this initiative. It appears that this roadmap is based on a 1996 Israeli document aimed at controlling Syria. The document’s name is A Clean Break. The 1996 Israeli document, which included prominent U.S. policy figures as authors, calls for “rolling back Syria” in 2000 or afterward.
